A Rare & Magnificent Japanese Antique , Muromachi Period ,
* 62Ken " Suji-Kabuto ". Large Bronze style Three stage "
Tehen-Kanamono ", with "
Shakudo "
{Gold & copper alloy coating }. " Kasajirushi-tsuke -no-kan " behind
" Tehen -kanamono "
also has " Shakudo " covering.
Maedate mount is Ornamental Bronze with Three
Large " Hasso Byo " { soft metal rivets with ornamental Heads }, fitted below
to the Bronze trimmed Visor .
Interior of the Visor is Black Lacquered .
Interior Liner is Deer Skin and the Original Liner though the Tehen-Kanamono
Bright Printed leather of the Upper side of the Liner can clearly be seen.
This
Magnificently Forged Kabuto is Attributed to the "
Miochin " Armorer's of the
Mid 16th Century Muromachi Period.
