period 18thC Japanese Samurai "Menpo" of Deep Black Lacquered Iron
with detachable nose piece.
Menpo is of basic Nara style and is
completely covered inside and out in a thick layer of lacquer.
The very
thick and large Mustache is of black hair.
"Asenagashin no kan" {sweat-hole}
is under the chin.
Four Lame "Yodarekake" {throat -defense} of
"Kiristuke Kozane" {imitation lamellae} with greyish brown "Kibiki odashi "
{close-spaced lacing}.
The Black lacquer has a mirror like finish
