Magnificent Mid 17 th. century

JAPANESE SAMURAI MENPO

This menpo is covered with an excellent finish of thick red lacquer and is particularly well crafted.

It's origins maybe the City of Edo

Five lame "Yodarekake" (Throat defense).

Cinnabar red lacquered interior.
